Lucardo A highly aromatic wine
with plush layers of currant, blackberry
and raspberry, enhanced by subtle wood, vanilla,
coconut, and spice flavours. A wine of great
complexity, Lucardo has a smooth finish and
is rich and mouth filling on the palate.
Accessible at a young age, it also ensures
a long maturation potential. |
 |
Cabernet
Sauvignon This
mellow red wine is characterized by a depth
of complexity, balance, finesse and richness
of flavour. The primary taste is cut grass
with overtones of pepper, mint and sage.
With its high tannin content which serves
to provide structure and intrigue, it is
ripe and
mouth filling on the palate with a long aftertaste. |

Verzaro
(Merlot)
Varietal that has been cultivated for years
in home territory and finds in Umbria a perfect
and favourable habitat. Gathered at full maturation,
respecting the standards of the phenolic maturation
and long macerations, allows to obtain wines
that are extremly coloured with intense bouquet
and a extremly soft flavour. |

|
Archetto
Dorato (Grechetto)
The Grechetto represents for Umbria the native
varietial of maggior value and interest. The
Baldassari Grecchetto is purposely "typical"
this way it is well recognizable comparing to
other products that are cultivated and vintaged
by the Farm mainly "international".
This syntony with the ground is distinguished
by a colour more sharp and a bouquet of pear,
apple and musk, typical for the used varietal. |

|
Chardonnay
The Chardonnay, in the same way as
the Merlot, finds in the Mediterranean Italian
climate an extraordinary area where you can
grow it and produce full-bodied and structured
white wines. The low production per vine together
with a modern wine-cellar technique allows also
to obtain a sophisticated wine, regarding both
the olfactive and the gustative aspects. |

|
Pinot
grigio
Next to varietals of great thickness and body,
the Farm Baldassarri wanted to create a wine
Pinot Grigio-based of slighter structure but
with great aromatic and gustative elegance.
Pinot Grigio is presented in the tasting remarkably
drinkable and with a evolutive potential. Such
grapes represent a technical challange for the
Farm, because big efforts are necessary in vineyard
to keep as much as possible the olfative heritage
unchanged of a varietal extremly sensitive to
high temperatures. |
